Can I drive off the lot with my new car before updating my insurance?
If your vehicle is leased or financed, the dealership will need to ensure that you have updated your insurance to cover your new vehicle before allowing you to take possession of the vehicle.
It is always in your best interest to update your policy prior to picking up your new vehicle for you and your family's protection.
